Go Birding @Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire

Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire, with its beautiful 500 acre (200 hectare) estate, follows this trend and is increasingly attracting the attention of nature lovers. In cooperation with SWAROVSKI OPTIK, the hotel offers their guests exclusive bird walks including a binocular rental service. During summer 2019, all guests had the opportunity to discover wildlife with CL Companion binoculars.

We want to offer our guests a fun and sustainable way to discover wild birds in their natural habitat. SWAROVSKI OPTIK binoculars are the best choice for our guests. With their impressive optics you are always ready to be greeted by an array of colourful wild birds.”

Go Birding

Birding as hobby is enjoyed by millions of people and unites nature lovers around the world. By sharing their findings, birders engage in Citizen Science and contribute to broadening the data for researchers and conservation activists to build their cases on.

The bird walks at the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire are guided by two passionate ornithologists, Keith Betton and John Clark. As keen birders, they want to use their vast knowledge and experience to inspire all guests on their tour – beginners as well as skilled birders.

What are you waiting for?

Spend your next holiday at the Four Season Hotel Hampshire and join Keith or John on their nature treasure hunt through the estate. With the CL Companion in your hand, you are likely to discover Little Egrets (Egretta garzetta), Canada Geese (Branta Canadensis), Robin (Erithacus rubecula) or Red Kites (Milvus milvus). Unique holiday experiences with just the right mix of excitement and relaxation await. Unique holiday experiences and rest guaranteed!

The new bird walks add to the Hotel’s wide variety of nature activities including fishing, falconry and a Highwire Adventure. Guests can also explore the Basingstoke Canal bordering the estate grounds on the Hotel’s barge. The estate’s original 18th century stable block is home to a luxurious spa.
